The Zafira's an adaptable MPV, almost a van amount of space with the seats down, comfy enough for seven with the seats all up.

It drives pleasantly enough, though youve got to hit pretty high revs to accelerate quickly while you;re moving.


This verson has not been the most economical at speed or around town, seems to enjoy being driven at around 60mph and not much else.


Theres not the same space as youd get in an SMax, most noticeable with all seven seats up.


Another niggle is that the dog rail we bought for our previous Zafira doesnt fit this model - there's no reason for this and it does grate that we have to spend again, a little more thought would inspire a little more loyalty.


Overall its comfortable enough, not terribly expensive to run and pretty good value - if you have a little more money to spend though there are probably better options.

With 3 kids, plus their friends coming & going, the Zafira seemed a good choice to put all them and their clobber. It certainly is a good choice. 7 seats in all, and the back two can be folded completey flat for shopping, moving stuff etc.

Only pitfall is that for people to get into the rear seats, the middle ones have to be rolled completely forward, which can only be done when they are vacant. i.e. if all the seats are going to be filled, passengers in the rear ones have to get in the car first and then when exiting, the reverse applies. Also, if you've got booster seats for children in the middle seats, these sit slightly over the edge of the front of the seat, so they have to be physically shifted so the seats can roll completely forward.

Only other way of getting to the rear seats is going through the boot and climbing over - which of course my kids love to do!!

Otherwise, good, very economic car.

This car suits the family man that still likes that boy racer punch. The wife drives it alot , gets all the kids in and somebodys else with the 7 seat flexisystem.Easy to drive with a nice 6 speed gearbox.

When i drive it, it has a little button on it that says sport. Its a bit like a women , push the button and god it goes, fantastic and keeps going.

This brings out the boy racer in me. love it to bits.
