The Forester, manufactured by Japanese automaker Subaru, is a four wheel drive SUV available since 1997. There has been 3 generations of the vehicle produced to date the most recent of which was released in 2008. In 2006 the turbo charged engine it used recieved the international engine of the year award, this engine is also used in the Subaru Impreza and the Saab 9-2X.
