Best car I have ever owned!!!! excellent build quality with very quiet motorway driving, cruise control makes it a pleasure on a run, high quality paint, the car does between 48-65mpg and I average town driving is 48, at 50 to 60 mph it does between 55 and 65mpg, I average about 52-54 no problems, motorway at 80mph in 6th gear I did 500 miles and averaged 55.3 mpg.

For all those muppets out there who blame the cars for the trouble ask yourself when did you put redex fuel cleaner through it?? When did you change the egr valve???? (has to be done every 40,000 or the turbo and intercooler will pop!), when did you check and clean the pressure relief valve, the oil and filter must be flushed out and changed every 9000 miles with a full service every 180000, all these things if ignored will blow the turbo, intercooler every 6 months!!!!! The first sign is very poor fuel consumption, lots of smoke etc.

These are fantastic cars, economical, quick, comfortable, sleek and reliable!! If maintained properly and very good value, get one with FSH with 60.000 miles on the clock or lower and you will have a great car, I did. Buy a 2004 model upwards and the key card opens the car without pushing the button on the remote, this is easy to tell as there are sensors behind each door handle and the boot lid which means no problems with buying new key cards as the buttons can break on the older models.

A beautiful car, that ticks all the boxes for the family. It has a lack of power when pulling away or accelerating, so you won't be taking on the boy racers or pulling handbrake turns outside McDonalds. That said, it has a lovely feel to it. You won't be smothered in extras, but it has character.
