The 206 is a supermini that Peugeot put into production in 1998 as a replacement for the popular 205. The car was available as either a hatchback or estate with a wide variety of petrol and diesel engines from a 1.1 litre petrol through a 2.0 litre in the top of the range of the range model. The 206 was a strong seller through to production ending in 2010 and is still a popular option on the used market. The car was also given a boost in popularity when used for Peugeot's World Rally Championship programme for a number of years.
