I was a bit apprehensive about buying my Focus, but I was in a needs must situation. I needed something bigger than a Corsa to hold my gran's wheelchair and something a bit more comfortable for my epic journeys around the country to indulge my passion for motorsport.

The Focus has everything that I need, big boot, powerful (but not too powerful) engine, a/c, electric windows, electric mirrors and the added bonus of the climate pack which is a very handy add-on for winters in North Scotland!

I was actually surprised at how economical on fuel the Focus is . I was expecting a huge difference after having small cars for so long but was delighted to discover that the difference in fuel cost was only about £5 a week!

I've had my Focus for a year now and I can't believe how fab she has been in that time. She's not needed any mechanical repairs other than your usual wear & tear items and has just breezed through her MOT. Yes my Focus is a girl and I call her Flick!

Ford Focus 2.0 Ghia Esate Practically Perfect

This is an everyday car that can be all things to all men. Its sufficiently large to accomodate all manner of loads, from tables and chairs to fridges. Trips to the garden centre are swallowed up as easily as trips to the dump. Holidays in the UK are a breeze as eveything can be packed for all weathers. Its small enough to make city driving and parking no effort at all.

This Ghia model has all but the very latest toys on board, air-con, electric seats and a heated front windscreen.

It certainly cuts it in the style front and isn't out of place in any company.

As a family car it takes some beating bringing economy, confort, performance and practicality together effortlessly.

Taking the kids to football or to the woods is no longer a chore as with the tailgate up all can be perched on the back of the boot under the cover of the raised boot making taking of those muddy boots in the rain an easy task.

Handling and performance won't set any records but will leave you satisfied and content. Acceleration can be sure footed and fairly rapid when required whilst maintaining composure and diginity.

Add to this the familiarity of the Ford brand which any garage seems to be pleased to see and the Focus Estate 2.0 Ghia package seems hard to part with.

I love my focus...... Not only is this car practical, it's is extremely comfortable to drive.

I have an automatic and the gear changes are extremely smooth, and when the car is ticking over it can hardly be heard.

This car has great fuel consumption too!

I have the 5 door version which is great as I take my niece and nephew out every now and then. It gives me easy access to the back of the car which helps me secure them into the car seats without the hassle of climbing in the back with them.

The boot is spacious enough to store a buggy and the food shopping with space left over.

I love it and would recommend it to everyone!
