The original Fiat 500 was manufactured from 1957 to 1975, with its shape being one of the most recognised in the automotive world. The modern take on the classic small car was launched in 2007 as a three-door city car, available as both a hatchback and cabriolet. A wide range of petrol and diesel options are available, as is a high performance Abarth version. The 'new' 500 was European Car of the Year in 2008.
