Chrysler
Chrysler is an American Automobile Manufacturer founded by Walter P Chrysler in 1925. Between 1998 and 2007 Chrysler became part of the German DaimlerChrysler Group. In May 2007 DaimlerChrysler announced it was selling an 80% stake to Private equity firm Cerberus Capital Management, but retaining a 20% stake in the company. Daimler then sold out to Cerberus and after the company suffered financial issues, a new company - Chrysler Group LLC - took control in 2009 after the car maker emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
