The BMW X3 has not yet been rated.
The BMW X3 is the second vehicle produced by the German car manufacturers to be classed as a sports activity vehicle. Following the X5, BMW made up its mind to take on the market and compete with the likes of the Land Rover Freelander and other small SUV's, and sure enough the X3 concept was revealed in 2003. The 3 litre injection model won Canadian car of the year Best New Sport Utility Vehicle award for 2005.
