The Alfa Romeo GT has been produced since 2004 as a sports car that was originally revealed at the Geneva Motor Show in 2003. The coupe is based on the same platform as the Alfa Romeo 156 and top end models come with a 3.2 Litre V6 engine which will do 0-60 MPH in 6.7 seconds.

I have owned the Alfa GT 1.9JTDm for 5 years and covered over 100k miles in it. I know people know someone who heard from someone down the pub that Alfa's are terribly unreilable but since about 2005 things have certainly turned the other way.The car has suffered from no issues whatsover that you wouldn't expect on a car of this mileage and age. Because of this I've now moved up to an Alfa 159 as we have a newborn baby so the rear doors certainly help.
This is a car that oozes style and literally turns heads wherever it goes. I see people walk past the house all the time who always eye the car up and it never fails to raise a comment when I'm washing it.
The GT may be a coupe but it is possible to use the rear seats. I've quite comfortably had 2 adults in the back with no real issues. We have a German Sheppard and again have had no issues opening the hatch, dropping the back seats and putting attaching the dog to the seat belts in the rear.
This truly is a practical, economical and stylish car!
